When you're 1 and a half...

• You think that every man with long hair is Jesus
• You want peanut butter and jelly for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• You love watching Elmo three times a day
• You say, "bum" when you want to sit down because mom always tells you to sit on your bum
• You love hanging out in parked cars and sometimes you lock yourself in the car
• You are obsessed with checking the mail
• You squeal with delight whenever you see water (fountains, lakes, pools, puddles,sprinklers)
• You are sad when mom and dad leave you at nursery
• You want to hang out on mom and dad's bed every night around bedtime and use dad as a jungle gym
• You love all of your stuffed animals (especially your roo and bunnies)
• The sheep sound is your favorite to imitate and it is the default animal sound if you're not sure what sound an animal makes
• You're very concerned about the week old scrape on your knee and make mom and dad kiss it several times daily so it will get better "Knee. Kiss. Better"
• You want to feed yourself with a spoon even though every other bite ends up in your lap or on the floor
• When you want something you say, "hand" and pull on mom and dad's hand until they get up and get you what you want
• The answer to, "What do you say?" is always please
• When mom tells you to ask nice you say, "nice" instead of please
• You smile really big when you're about to do something naughty and mom looks at you
• When you're upset, you lay down gently on the floor and say, "fit."
• You love playing in the bath and sometimes you try to sneak sips of bath water
• When you're very sick in the hospital you only want mom to hold you and cuddle you and even though she is very tired and worried it makes her very happy
